I just wanted to clarify a few things about Alice Deejay... Alice Deejay is a collective of Dutch DJs and Producers who write and produce tracks for singer Judy. For the live-act Judy is joined by dancers Mila and Angel.
=========================================================
The Alice Deejay collective consists of the following DJs/Producers:
>> Pronti = Sebastiaan Molijn
>> Kalmani = Eelke Kalberg
>> DJ Jurgen = Jurgen Rijkers
>> Danski = Dennis van den Driesschen
>> DJ Delmundo = Wessel van Diepen
>> Svenson = Sven Maes
>> Johan Gielen
>> Michiel Van der Kuy
>> DJ Isaac = Roel Schutrups
>> Hazerdous = ???
NOTE: Pronti & Kalmani are also the writers/producers behind the Vengaboys.
=========================================================
The following tracklisting for "Who Needs Guitars Anyways?" lists the writing and production credits for each track on the CD.
=========================================================

Although it's not mentioned in the above tracklisting I read on the internet that DJ Jurgen was involved with the production of "Better Off Alone".
Since Pronti & Kalmani wrote and produced Alice Deejay's two biggest club hits that most people are familiar with, as well as being the writers/producers behind the Vengaboys, when people say they hate Alice Deejay, they usually really mean and should be saying that they hate Pronti & Kalmani.
I hope that clears up a few things for all of you.

| "Better Off Alone" was originally called DJ Jurgen "Better Off Alone" on it's original Dutch release in 1997! Who I really hate is Pronti & Kalmani, the one's written and produced by them are unbearably crap! They're cheap and nasty sounding and the lead vocalist CAN'T sing! "Celebrate Our Love" is second worst dance release of the year so far, with Fragma "Everytime You Need Me" just managing to beat it for crapness! |
