Do Androids Dance to Electric Beats?
The Melbourne Techno Collective in collaboration with Sneakersoul and Ffour are proud to announce the launch of Eight Bit Soul. Kicking off on 15th October from 6pm till 1am, Eight Bit Soul will be a celebration of all things minimal, stripped back and left of centre. From Kompakt to Polkerflat, Minus to Kanzleramt, Luciano to Rob Babicz Eight Bit Soul will have it covered. Eight Bit Soul is where the surreal meets the proverbial, the established soars alongside the unexplored, where digital grit meets analog soul. Monthly residents Sam McEwin, Mixwell Smart, Getafix and Stitchenhausen will be joined on opening night by Private Function’s Dean Millson and Data on Dub/MTC main man Craig McWhinney in the Eight Bit Soul Monophonic Sound Manipulation Lab.
