Funny you should mention it, because I was going to go apply there this afternoon. I have some pretty good knowledge of computer systems, and I'd find it much more interesting to put it to use (even if it's such a slight use) than to waste my talents on some job anyone can do.

I used to go under my little table and pretend I was looking for pots and pans while I ate all the samples Muhahaha!! I swear some people are real freaks. This one guy would come and grab a sample and then come back with a hat, then with a new shirt and then finally he comes back in a wheelchair??!! WTF?! Does he think I can't remember what he looks like 5 minutes ago?

I work at costco since 6 years now. They are good as what oneeleeven told you. The hire start really soon, so it's the good time for sending CV. You will not work for demo, because it's a different company that work for costco. Salary start at 9,50$/hour. You can work outside pushing baskets, wrapper at the cashes or on the floor in the morning for placing stuff!! If you're a good worker you have a good chance of getting a supervisor place in a few years. That means a salary of 55 000$ a year.

Lol that would be pretty pathetic of them :stongue:

I couldnt take working there though because the people are such s. I swear these snoby people would come and a grab a few and I would say sorry only 1 and they would just walk away! Im not Ghandi, I don't have the patience for people like this. If I would have continued working there id be in jail right now.

Actually, I currently work at Future Shop, at the one near Place Vertu shopping mall in Saint-Laurent, and they are hiring for a bunch of positions. I work in the entertainment department (movies, games, music) and that is salary based (starts at 8$/hr) with the addittion of commission off of guarantees and whatnot on consoles and the likes. Most of the other departments are completely commission, like the computer and home theater department. If I were you, I'd try applying anyway, atleast until you can find something better, as money is money and having a little is better than having none :P. If you have any knowledge on TVs, I'd definitely recommend trying to apply at a few different stores in that department, because the money you can make is great. There are guys who can make 200-300$+ a day, just selling HDTVs.

I worked at Future shop last xmas time
like october to Jan at MArche Central
I loved it !
It was 8$ an hour..but u get commission for selling guarantees on products , and certain products can instantly give u 5$ comission , like stupid battery chargers
Good Money..Good Environment
but u cant bum around..they expect u to be after every customers ass

Oh..and the working on only comission thing is RLY not that great as it sounds
ITS GOOD , if there's alot of people and u sell sell sell..
but if U dont sell..u might have a few days in a row with 0$ MONEY
and if someone returns something..U can be at minus 0$...
But if ur one of those I WONT LET U GO UNTIL U BUY , AND GET A GUARANTEE , being a Sales Expert at FS is the job for u :D
