So I've a couple tracks in the works. I just started this one last night, and spent about an hour putting this together. It's just thematic material. I'm ultimately going for that very open, airy, VAST expansive feel, but I don't think there's enough atmosphere nor FX going on. So, thus, this is a "sketch." Also, the kick/hat combo? Sucks, I know *laughs*. I threw it in just to help with the beat. I may make this more breakstyle than 4x4. Ideas?
I'll try to post more of the stuff I'm working on, though this is the most incomplete, I figured I'd get some feedback. Also, any tips on techniques for achieving that vast atmosphere? (Yes, I use Atmosphere, too, hehe. Subtly in this though)
FX helpw ould help, too. I lvoe designing FX, but what are some cool ones for this type of feel? Wet reverb washed white noise sweeps perhaps? :)
