I'm wondering if anyone has actually used a Mawzer controller or has seen one up close. It's an Ableton controller that you build yourself. It goes together like legos. I read up on it on the website but I wanted some real feed back from someone that has actually used one or owns one.

i'm actually contemplating what ableton/midi controller to get myself. probably don't have the money for one of these things, but i'm open to suggestions.

This controller looks VERY interesting because you can build it up yourself to exactly your style and needs. I am not a huge fan of Ableton because the lack of hands on control, but with the Mawzer I may just change my tune.

from what i understand it was never released. was just a "vapourware" project that never did materialize.

i would hold out for this though:

basically a poor mans lemur, all you need to buy is an lcd touchscreen monitor.

or you could get the real thing and make alot of people jealous:

I'm looking for the hands on physical feel of knobs, faders, jog wheels etc. Although I must say that mono touch looks very nice :D

the monotouch wont function nearly as well as the lemur, but will be like 1/50th the cost.

The Lemur looks like something out of Tron. I love it!

Big draw back with the touch screen stuff is that it only responds to one touch at a time :(
