He didn't wanna release another Endtroducing or another Private Press - which I think's fine. Some of the album grows on you a bit, but it wasn't meant to follow on from his first two albums. He wanted to incorporate more of the Bay Side style as that's whats big where he's from. Even though i'm generally disappointed with the album, respect for moving on n tackling something different!!
Just go listen to Endtroducing again - it's timeless after all :p |

| It's not too bad, it's got some crappy tracks but the actual hip hop stuff is decent. The track with David Banner is really good and Turf Talk does a good job. The actual 'trip hop' stuff is a letdown though, same with the indie rock attempts. |
