the one u are probably thinking of (if indeed u are) is phenyciclidine... of which some of u might know as PCP..
sometimes referred to as "elephant tranquilizer"
and yea.. K is a disocciative so it'll have effects on the brain.. whether or not it'll cause brain damage isn't REALLY sure, but the only thing is that it affects the prefrontal cortex..
which can make ya stupid and psycho basically..

Ketamine is chemically 2-(2-Chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)-
cyclohexanone.
Ketamine is used as a human and animal anesthetic.Vets use it for cats or any small animal and reptiles.
Using K on a regular basis is highly adictive and can have long term effects, such as paranoia, ego centricism, vertigo, dizziness, flashes and streaks in your vision etc.
Personally i've never taken and after researchin the drug i'm never going to in take... i don't believe there is anything good about taking this substance.Think i'll stick with me mdma(xtc);)

Yup, just goes to show how much I use the . Hehe if you ask me I think it's better that it be called an elephant tranq ... that way novice dumbs would show some respect for it and not OD off it. |

Ketamine is an anaesthetic which is still used in hospitals in much higher doses (obviously so high that it knocks you out cold!), and has the reputation of being very safe. So, as far as neurotoxicity (brain damage) is concerned it is probably the safest recreational drug around, and if it was Ketamine then you should not worry about it causing you physical damage.
However, it can sometimes produce experiences which are more difficult to handle than LSD, withj less defined boundaries between the experience and real life. So, like all intense experiences, it can produce psychological damage in susceptible people.
Another problem with Ketamine that deos not apply to LSD or mushrooms is that it is addictive. Even responsible people who use it regularly quite often become addicted, although this is not a danger to worry about for people who take it a few times by mistake.
Finally, Ketamine appears to be the favourite scape goat for people who have bad experiences. Remember that bad experiences can happen with even pure MDMA in some situations, so don't always blame the chemical.

lol not necessarily prefrontal cortex damage, but it has effects on it, be it adverse or whatever depending on dosage... i know because ummm i know?? =p |

| Here's an advice from an ex-snorter. Don't snort up K too much in 1 nite. 3 lines is nice. K tripping is awesome when u take the right dose. Too much brings u to K-hole. I think that bad dreams comes from smoking weed?LOL. Coz I think weed makes u see devilish things, ain't it?LOL. K actually brings u to La La Land. Sit down, get yourself comfy and start your imagination running, if possible get a girl for cuddling hugging massaging. Since K is an anasthetic, that's y it's good to snort a bit after E, to let u chill out. K is addictive, it's true, coz when u just sat and chill with trance and K flashbacks will come LOL. Dreams come to me too, but it was just dreams of me snorting up Ks, not a bad dream. Some Es also make u couldn't sleep and eat too. The good part of K-hole is it stops u from OD LOL. After u fell to K-hole, u won't snort up again till the next time u rave hehe and after u throw up LOL. |

nah.. different things..
GHB aka gamma hydroxybutyrate is more similar to alchohol and is a depressant.. ummm i wouldn't ever take GHB.. it has a low threshold for comatose...
K is more of an anaethetic or a disocciative..
pretty different ends of the spectrum =p.. gives psychadelic flashes, whereas GHB's effect isn't as obvious??? does that make sense?? ya it does =p |

Definately agree.. snorting after E is nice ...
Didn't know K was so addictive..mmm...maybe thats why one of my friends snort K first thing she wakes up...lol |

GHB has, roughly said, the same effect as E besides of the energy you get from it.... it's also known as some sort of sex-drug. |
