You're right, there are (I think) 15 tracks that Mike played.
Before the rest of the Progressive Nations sets were released I had thought that this was just a one hour mix by Mike, so that's why the tracklist is missing a few tracks.
I still don't think the last two tracks are his though. They're both hard house radio edits and during the mix you can hear a "Mike is taking you to midnight" jingle, followed then by a "CET 12 o'clock" announcement just before those tracks.
So there are three tracks to add to the tracklist at the beginning..:

I think your probably right with the first track!
He's just talking about the reviews not so much what hes playing.
Im sure though that in this set:

The very last track was:

Even if was an edit it was still a good 5 minutes long. |

It's definitely there at the end alright, I just don't think that it's part of Mike's set.

Nice one, we're getting dangerously close to fully IDing one of these! Is that the Quivver mix of 3 Monkeys - Crazy People? A bit hard to tell with all the static but I think it could be. Any info on that Calling The Freak track? |

Im pretty sure its not the Quivver mix This does not have the words in it like one in the set. so i'd say it was the original.
The only calling the freak relesed that year was Boarding Time.
so it must be that but i can't be sure from the sample i heard.
I think a lot of scanner tracks have come from the scan the world ep1 and scan the world ep2.
I might buy both these samplers to see if there any of the ones we are looking for! can't find any samples only the Boarding Time track.
I have most of the vinyls he has relesed. And quit a lot from that year. Thats how I new the HH mix of stange world. |

I've got a set rip labelled as the Quivver mix and it has vocals. To get all technical here, it sounds a bit more "swirly" than the original (it's a bit darker overall too). I'll up it for you if you want.

I've heard the tracks on STW1 and he doesn't play any of them, which is surprising given how much he plugs it! So I dunno if that is CTF - Boarding Time (think he might just be plugging it there again). Never heard STW2 though, may have a look for some samples. Edit: Actually, he does play a couple of the STW1 tracks.
Oh, and that vocal track you're looking for is Voodoo Dildo - Have I Told You. |
