So, as many of you know, Im working on a cavalcade of courses for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and some of their subsidiaries. So im at work today, adding some new audio to some slides when I get a call...

It turns out that a help number I had included several times throughout several of the courses led not to Anthem's Producer Relations, but to an adult service offering relations of a different kind ;). So, the client is pissed, my boss is pissed and Im just cracking up because the client provided me with and confirmed the number through several rounds of edits. I feel like there will be a fall guy and that it will likely be me, but the humour value could be worht it :D

Well, I assume you explained the mistake right?

They can't fire you over something you didn't intentionally do. I am sure there is some kind of workers right that protects you from unfair dismissal, and it certainly would be unfair to fire you over something you weren't even aware of.

Anyway, I hope you don't get fired either way.

P.S. It's kinda funny.

Especially when you consider that most of the people going through this course are eligible for Medicare themselves (~65)

um, no...If a Dr. failed to check to see if you were allergic to any medications, then gave you all of the ones you were allergic to and killed you, but was unaware of what he was doing, would he get fired? Yes.
