hi mates
i just wannt some help cause i just bought a virus indigo, but it didnt come with anything, no cables no manual nothing?
the thing is the synth does work, i tested it using a maudio oxygen to midi input, and it sounds great. but the built in keyboard doesnt work. might it be that some feature is disabled or something. or should i just lok for the manual. anyway an advice will be very more than wellcome...

did you check the access support site for the manual? |

It sounds like you have the keyboard local setting turned off.
Press System/Multi Edit button and scroll along until you see KEYBOARD Local, set this to ON!
If you are using with a sequencer you leave this setting OFF so your virus doesn't sound when you are controlling other midi tracks/ VST's, Remember to have MIDI Thru active in your sequencer! |

using the indigo as a controller is a waste if u ask me :)
anyway, midi through will work perfectly in any sequencer, as long as u connect everything ok. |

a waste like for what????
of course im still using it for the synth, thats more than obvious:wtf:
but still i think it can be used to control or send notes to the vst , in abscense of a midi controller.
is this a waste????, care to explain more why????? |

well now another stupid question, but before. Does anyone knows where i can download the manual for virus indigo, this is the first version.
ok now here is it:
How can i setup my virus so i can get midi in and midi out from the sequencer so i be able to record and play in sync with midi editor, and also to input midi to my vsts. now bash me, but if u can just give me a hint i will aprecciate. as i said the guy didnt send me the manual or the power chord:whip: |

what kind of sound card do u have? u need two midi cables. u need to connect one of them from the Indigo Midi Out to the Sound Card's Midi In. and the second one from the Indigo Midi In to the Sound Card's Midi Out.
i dont know if u need to setup something in the virus itself, but u should really check the manual (u can find it on www.access-music.de) |

i have the midi out and in correctly on the synth and a MOTU 828 soundcard. Also the audio cable is playing in cubase (i did create a input chanenl and it sounds) what i cant just do is play my vsts with indigo!! i setp midi input on the souncard and everything... aaa
im boring u ,, i think i did everything right , but maybe there still some tweak on the synth.. ill keep trying
thanxxx |
