| To be honest, the album will be received in much the same way Explorer was. Out of the four club tracks, one has been released previously, whilst the rest of the non club tracks are the same kind of poppy filler that made Explorer such a hit and miss album for most. For Tilt fans its great though, and the fact that it will be sold as a low price cd rather than full means maybe some more will get into it. |

Thanks for the heads-up then. I'll still buy it, pop slush or not. |

So the 'supernatural mix' of supernatural really does exist???
I heard all sorts of rumors like it was a cut & paste job from Oakenfold and that the track was originally made by tilt but then lost so for me it really will be something if it does turn out to be that long lost version featured on the classic oakenfold set.
Infact I'm realy looking forward to this as I seemed to be one of the few who really thought the album was worth the wait - sure it wasn't in the same style as the tilt of old - but all things have to evolve to stay fresh! |

from what i rember the vertion that oakey plaed was a cut and past job, supernatural dub + a bootleg Accupella that Oakey had.
any way back in march i was talking to JP from Hooj and he sead that vaults was goning to be a digital release.
hopefuly it will be on cd or 12"

yeh - the acapella I know for sure does exist (v.rare promo release of this on hooj which came accompany by the dub version) which is identical to the breakdown in the oakey essential mix.
Still I'm not sure on the true origin (or even existance of the mix). I saw on another post that Tilt said they did create the track (but then subsequently misplaced/lost it), then elsewhere people saying that this was a blatent cut/paste job from oakey.
Not long now to wait until we find out if the supernatural mix is the version that we hear from the oakey essential mix! We can only hope! |
