Looking for partners to throw monthly trance event

Hi

My name is Ryan 'Doc' Savage, I've been a rave promoter for the past 7 years now. Recently I've decided to stop doing raves and instead start doing club and afterhour events instead, focusing on trance.

The goal is to do a monthly trance event. The kinds of artists I want to bring to Montreal to start: Sander Van Doorn, Airbase, Thomas Datt, Markus Schultz, Mike Koglin, Pulser, etc etc. Using a club or afterhours is still up in the air, it depends on the level of interest and the quality of the team we put together.

I can't do things on my own. I am looking for partners in this endeavor, and I *DO* mean partners, not just flyer people. We will plan the events together, choose our lineup, finance, promote, everything. The goal is to try and get an initial event done for late January.

If you're interested post in here with some kinda digital contact info or email me at [email protected] . Depending on the response I'd like to have a meeting over some beers after Thanksgiving weekend and we can all talk about our ideas and our interests etc.

Those interested in helping out or with useful contacts feel free to post as well. While the initial meeting will be to try and put together the core group, we will definately be needing to put together a diverse team to make this work.

Peace
Ryan

AFAIK trance is not doing as good as it could be in this city. It's a couple of dedicated locals + the big clubs cashing in on top names for the most part. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction. I know there's enough trance fans in the city to do a decent party once a month with the stars of tommorow. I don't know how minimal techno and electro glitch got big while trance still lags behind. Damn avant-garde city :wtf:

I'm always down to promote fresh events. Let me know if you are interested.

I hear this is a mostly gay event?
