Hell no! The bank rocks!
I went in got a US check cleared that second, set up online banking and got a hot bank teller named Roxanne's number :D:D |

It has never EVER made sense to me why the bank would charge you money for HAVING NO MONEY. Frytking bank!
Plus, I will throat-punch a 'foreign fee' right straight in the throat. You tell them that. :mad: |

I've overdrafted 3 different times, nothing more than a few dollars, but still, you get charged that fee. Luckily, I work for the bank, so I got my fees taken off:D

And when I call the folks at citibank over there in india, they put me on hold for 30 minutes while they check "for more information about these charge fees"
And then it hangs up while i'm on hold.
Meanwhile I have -90$ in over-draft charges for going 11 cents over because of some foreign fee I dont EVEN KNOW WTF IS.
Now I cant buy my new beatport for this weekend.

| well since my cat died two months ago, I have been very very very negative in my account, and as far as I am concerned they have everyright to charge me interest - so I guess all banks suck ass:( |

So in summary, the point of the thread was how ed the bank is, and with a side project, of letting Frenchie know I'm broke.

you do know the business goal of the bank don't you?
it's to make as much money as possible to make the stock holders happy. If you ever walk in on the meetings that go on, it's basically, "How can we sell as many services to our 'customers' as possible, even if they don't need it?"
That's why I like credit unions. They call their customers 'members' because it's more of a 'union' working for the members interests. it's basically a not-for-profit banking organization, so it's not, "How best can our customers serve us by buying services?" as opposed to, "How best can we best serve our members?"
