ive always heard about carl cox unique mixing style and techno sound but ive never heard a set from him. wat kind of techno does he play ?

It really depends. He'll play a lot of Tech-House then move into Marco Bailey type Hard Techno. |

| Yeah I was going to answer this earlier but I had to think about it for awhile. He is very diverse it's hard to pigeonhole him into a subgenre I'd just say he's a techno DJ. Even then maybe I'd say a Techno/House DJ I've heard him play a lot of housey songs. |

I heard that he really changes his set up depending on what part of the country/world and what club he is playing at. I have downloaded some live stuff from him and he had a full trance set in Miami, and (I think San Fran) he played mostly prog. But, you are right. It is hard to put a tag on his sound. Now, please have a nice tall glass of shut-the-hell-up. It's on me. |
