Like the first breakdown in this, I particularly like the bass, it may be very, very simplistic, but sounds good to me. However, when it kicks back in following the break I'm just not sure it does anything that I think is altogether very interestnig, and again, gets very repetitive. The effects on the vocals are pleasing, and in general bring me back into digging the tune. The breakdowns are pretty much the only part of this tune that I really enjoy so far, the main structure of the tune is far too repetitive and doesn't do much at all. This one had some potential, but it definitely wasn't realized which is perhaps far more frustrating than if the track was just flat out bad. The ball was deifnitely dropped here.
Madonna - Jump (Axwell Remix)
Actually upon further review I have to say, this is by far the best of the three. Very catchy hook, interesting percs, just all around interesting sounds. This will probably find it's way into a few sets of mine once it's available, though it is a tune I could see myself tiring of relatively quickly But for the most part I really dig it, cool guitar line towards the end of it to.
I know, I'm as shocked as you are :eek:
i would say that in general, Axwell is my least SHM member, but he really nailed it on this one... Can't wait to get my hands on it :) |
