Any TA's heading to this event? In fact, any TA's promoting this event? Looking for a guest list hook-up. :tongue2

I'm taking a friend to dinner and we're going to head over to belo afterwards. I put my name on Realivze's list a few days ago, so hopefully there won't be any hassle. My first time at Belo since the remodel. Frankly, I think I like 4th/B better, but what can you do? First time seeing G&D, so that's the bright side.

Thought I'd follow up the post last night with a mini-review.

We got to Belo last night around 11:30 and the place was pretty crowded. The space is nicely done, but I still don't like the low ceilings. While it might feel a bit more intimate than 4th/B, I like the big open space better, and I think 4th/B has a much better sound system.

G&D played a very "up" set which was nice. Good vibe, good energy. The crowd seemed much younger than shows I've seen at 4th/B. Maybe because 4th and B is more of an event venue, and Belo is a nightclub that attracts patrons who didn't specifically come to see G&D.

Anyway, I tend to be pretty critical of my nights out, and this was a good one, for a number of reasons.
