hey guys..
just wanted to post this up here now that my website updates are done along with the video clips. Sickest party in western canada by miles. This was the 9th year of the festival and people came from europe, uk, asia, and all over the world to tear it up from wed-mon August 9-14.
The set is a CD length version (80 mins) of the 2 hour set I played Saturday night 4-6 am on Main stage and travels through the sounds of progressive, electro, pumping french house, and big breakbeats including a third of the content consisting of my own edits & reworks most of which were done specifically for the show. It also comes in a zip folder with a .cue file and a link to instructions on how to burn it without losing the track indexes for skipping through the cd. Leading up to the show I spent a huge amount of time tracking down the biggest tracks I could find & lots of time working on tracks including the Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark bootleg which destroyed! The response was crazy & the stage manager said it was the best closing set they've ever had on main stage in 9 years of the show. Sick. Anyways... here it is:

The site has been updated so now there's a choice of 320k or 224k mp3. The recording quality is also immaculate, due to being recorded via digital output from the Denon X1500 mixer.
And yes.. the festival is incredible. Best electronic music event I know of in Canada... hugely in part to the vibe, setting, and amazing production of the event which involves over a month worth of solid work on the ranch each year before the show since the promoters own the land! The set is 80 mins worth of the 2 hr set I played there. In the 2 hr set I played there I also played: Infusion vs Underworld - Legacy, and the 2 closing tracks I played were Coldplay - Talk (JXL mix) followed by Way Out West - Domination (classic!) |

hey This is a great set Nemesis
Electro isnot really my thing, you got everything on spot and you know how to keep the beat up =)
I can see that youi are very talented
That song Bouncing of the walls sounds very similar to Ferry cOrsten - Rock yOUr Body Rock, but with the bootleg you did it's definitely special=)

I wonder how you did thart, if I may ask.
did you just drop it on the breakdown during bouncing off the walls?
is the BPM of Fear of the darker art the original BPM or did you had to pitch it up over 20 % to get to the BPM of bouncing off the walls?
I wonder how you did it, beacuse I would like to do stuff like that =)
and Junkie XL was great to end the set=)
well you send you end it with Domination wich I think it had to be awesome.

hey pepa,
that bootleg is something I put together in my studio the week before the show. The bpms of the 2 tracks are too far apart to try to pitch one up or down without screwing them up, so I had to chop it up and work the tracks together. And yes, I love the end chunk of the mix as well. Glad you enjoy it :)
