I'm sure the fact that NJ has the highest population density has something to do with the awesomeness that occasionally occurs in Jersey. This many people, this close to each other are bound to come up with good things every now and then. :)
Not to mention the influence from across the river to rise to greatness after being in the city's percieved 'shadow' most of your life.
