I've heard a recent one and it's so hot that it feeds hell itself :P

not really
alot of the top "minimal dj's" are already complaining how they are sick of it.Plus if you really want to go further, most of the stuff that is called minimal these days isnt. You can thank the same record execs who label things electro house for this. The genre is almost becoming a joke because they are simply labeling anything remotly glitchy as minimal to cash in on the fad.
and mo, i like minimal...
but the fad won't last.
there is something very swedish house mafia about the whole thing.
1 year big, then where are they now.
that being said loco dice is a great booking...its just sad that not enough people know of him to make it a full house. |

You don't mix minimal, so I can't see you comprehending it as much as I do.
It may not be the future of general dance, but it is surely a part of the future of my own dance music.
With minimalism your flexibility "as a dj" is limitless, if you had 3/4/+ tracks going together, i guarentee goodfun, at least if you're doing it for the sound. I'm sure you'd never get that with vocal house.
And Jay, you should know, that I care less about those jocks that are bitchin @ minimal, for that they are blind to value how immensely the genre will influence, yet another new genre :) |

dude
im only referring to the genre in general. So many people think minimal is new...it isnt.It had a big rising in the 90's fell off the map to come back again today.Has nothing to do with what you mix and what you don't.You know i like what you do, just dont think that because you produce or mix something it puts you ahead of someone who has been listening to it for over 10 years.Notice how they have completely dropped the label minimal techno. You know why that is?Because it isnt anymore;)
ps i like your sets mo, just next time when you say future let it be known you are only referring about you.You know i like to discuss music even if no one else wants to.
omg omg book yoji:p |

The number of years you've spent listening to dance is void man.. Its like saying a 45 year old is more mature than a 35 year old.. What matters is how much you've experienced, and we shall not go on about this.
omg omg book whatever salsa dj :) |
