Extending vocals and other sounds

I got a question for FL6 and Ableton6 users. All I want to know is how to extend eg. vocal sample (tone). Such as Maor Levi has made on his "Reflect". I give you a sample coz there is a high risk you do not understand what I mean :)
Here it is:
maor levi - reflected (sample) [00:43m/1411kbps/0.4MB]

I think what he did is chopping the vocals
you chop what you want to extend to really small pieces...and loop one of the small pieces...and then propably put some reverb on it...maybe also a lil bit of compression...
not sure, hope it helps. |

Perhaps. I want to answer pro-audio questions. But when people have such distracting avatars... I just can't take them seriously. |

Sounds to me like a combination of:
- Vocoder
- Metallizer (maybe not needed depending on the vocoder)
- Gating and/or plain audio chopping (hard to tell)
- Heavy reverb, probably highpassed
- Delay near the end of the break
