I cleaned out my wife's car yesterday and found an ooooollldd mix cd tucked away in one of the backseat pockets. I jammed to it a little bit later and that track was on there!! Brought a nice smile to my face.

I subsequently ganked the cd from her. :disbelief

Ace of Base - Beautiful Life

i had this sweet yellow Sony tape player/radio that i used to record songs off the radio. well Beautiful Life was one of my favorite songs, so i recorded it and my brother and i used to listen to it nonstop and dance around my bedroom. i still remember what it sounded like with the intro/outro of the radio sounds and the DJ talking, lol.

if i listed the artists i used to listen to when i was younger, you'd all probably ban me from life. :nervous:

also, lots of classical music reminds me of growing up, because both my parents were musicians. i didn't even start listening to popular music until 7th grade when my first boyfriend bought me the Presidents of the USA CD.
