Slinky, another clubs bites the dust

Press release:
"Well it is with a small tear in my eye and a large puddle on my desk that i have to tell you that Slinky no longer will be at its home at The Opera House. As of NYE 2006 Slinky is off on its travels to find a new home on the South Coast.
The Opera House, as you all know by now, is under new management and their music policy and general direction for the future is changing. The following events will still take place but as of NYE Slinky will be spreading its wings and flying to pastures new!
Fri 6th October - Experi-Mental & Cocoshebeen ~ £10 in adv, £12 on door
Fri 13th October - Slinky presents Eddie Halliwell, Marcel Woods, Montana ~ £8 in adv, £8 and £10 on door
Fri 20th October - Cocoshebeen presents Roni Size, Virus live and Andy C ~ £10 in adv, £12 on door
Fri 27th October - Slinky's 10th Halloween Ball with Marco V, Lab 4 (last date 4 Slinky), BK, Adam Sheridan and Subgiant - £8 in adv, £10 on door
Fri 10th November - Slinky vs Atmosphere & Resonate with Mark EG, Scot Project, K90, M-Zone, Kutski, Organ Donors and more ~ £10 in adv, £12 on door
Fri 24th November - Slinky vs Antiworld with Infected Mushroom (live), Kristian, Sutekh, Graham Gold ~ £12 early bird, £15 normal adv, £20 on door
Fri 1st December - Slinky vs Hardcore Heaven - Full line TBA on Friday!
Fri 15th December - Slinky Hard with Anne Savage, Kutski, Andy Whitby, Alex Kidd, Wid & Ben, Vinylgroover ~ £8 in adv, £8 and £10 on the door
Fri 31st December - Slinky's last ever New Years Eve @ The Opera House - Full line up TBC"
Bit of a sad day, Slinky has had so many memories for me over the years. |

I've seen pvd about 5 times in all the years i've been going and he has been totally awesome every single time. Also he's totally destroyed the dancefloor at the BIC events to. Just a complete legend, and always up for slinky when he's down.
