Reviewing while listening - at the beginning during the percussion intro, I'm hearing some weird pops here and there that almost sound rhythmic but at other times like clipping. I'm not sure if that's actually the case or if maybe something's wrong with my headphones. (Wouldn't be shocked if it was my headphones - it's a really subtle noise so maybe I'm hearing things even.)
I like the piano touch - it's nice without going completely Robert Miles. And the detuned spooky pads in the background just before the saw-ish lead synth cuts in are also really good. It catches your ears and builds a mood.
Overall I like this - would definitely listen to it again if it wasn't faded out just after it gets really interesting...;-) |

Hey! Neat track. Pretty solid kick sound. Nice panning on percs at the beginning. I like those quick 32nds on the tight hats. Nice sppoky pad fx. I would bring out the 16th note synth line after the bass drop at 1:11. Nice melody at 1:39. Like the synth buildup at 2:12. Overall, some nice melodies and drive. My main suggestion would be to bring out the synth at 1:11, right now its audible but i feel like i'm having to listen to hard. Other than that, nice work. If you have time and could check out my latest track (Enigmatic Ecstasy-Perplexus) I would really appreciate it.
P.S. I didn't know anyone else was dumb enough to live in charlotte. |
