Genesis will be a party devoted on exposing the latest sounds and vision of the global Trance community. Expect to hear some of the world’s best Psytrance, Progressive trance, chill and breaks with Hi-Definition visuals all night long. The venue selected for this event is Davies Park in West End. We have managed to arrange special hours for this event. It will kick off at 7pm and go until 7am the next morning. Of course there is the lockout at 3:00am to 5:00am, but if you left after 3:00am you are able to enter the venue from 5:00am again. Liquor will cease to be sold from 5:00am, but you will be able to buy a number of bottled non alcoholic beverages from then after. There will be a BBQ from 6:00am to 7:00am for those of you that wish to be nourished before returning home from a great night out.
Vibrasphere Live & DJ Set
This will be the first time Vibrasphere has come to Brisbane and it’s sure to be a night to remember. Vibrasphere is Rickard Berglöf and Robert Elster from Uppsala, Sweden. For over a half a decade they have been one of the most influential and sought-after trance acts, helping to shape the sound of what is modern progressive music.
Premiere of Altered Visions
This event will be the unveiling of an act that has been many years in the making. Altered Visions is a 2hr performance that consists of a live VDJ act accompanied by live synths and effects. Altered Visions is pioneering the concept of VDJ’ing which is the art of mixing live high
definition visuals synchronized to a set of today’s best Psytrance & Progressive trance. On top of the VDJ side of things are the live synths and effects which will add another unique element to the act.
As well as the main line up on the top level, we will have a second level of progressive and chill heaven. We have a very special live appearance from Oka boys, who were recently signed to release on Ministry of Sound. Oka’s sound is pure bliss, they are a completely live act using everything from didgeridoo to old school analogue synths. For those of you that remember Chicane, we urge you not to miss this live performance and promise you will not be disappointed. We also have a guest appearance from a local breaks/chill producer recently released by
Sony.
