so be honest gentlemen... if your buddy (doesn't even have to be a BEST friend) had a smokin hot ex gf who clearly wanted to ravage you, would you?
what exactly does "Bros before ho's" mean? no dating? no ing? both?
what if you're out clubbing, wasted or f'd on e/coke and your buddy's ex is there, looking fine as ever and dancing dirty for you, insinuating that she wants you for the night, would you cave?
and what if you sort of fell for a buddy's girlfriend and then they broke up? what would you do? |

I could have sex with a friends gf and that would be the end of it. As long as it isn't a relationship they would understand. |

i used to believe the same thing till my buddys ex gf was at a club and i was wasted and f'ed up on coke and i caved |

To be honest the whole bros before hoes things sounds good in theory but often never makes it to practice. The problem is if some hot chick is pulling at a man's pants that man is normally not thinking about his buddy's feelings. We think about that after. So, it would normally go.... , feel bad, lie to our friend.
Ideally if one were interested in a buddy's ex he would ask permission before pursuing her, however, it all goes to hell in a spontaneous moment such as you described. |

it depends how serious the relationship my firend and his ex had... and also how close are friendship is. if its just some kid i knew for awhile that i hang out with sometimes, i dont think i should feel guilty for hooking up with his EX. however, if it was one of my 'boys' i would consider how serious he was with his ex. if i know for a fact that it was like a fling type of thing, and she started giving me signs that shes diggin me, i wouldnt hold back too much, of course i never 'fall' for chics as soon as feel the flirt and give some room to see their tru intentions and/or to see if their psycho or not..lol
on the other hand, if they were serious, ie. been together for more than a year, had an abortion, knew her parents etc. i simply wouldnt with it. it will just with my friend's heart and that can ruin the friendship.
all in all, even if their relationship werent deep, i'd still tell my friend the sitution.
'yo, jamie's been mad kickin it to me man, you dont mind if i hook up with her right ?' blah blah..

| If my buddy's ok with it then I have no problem. If he was going to have a problem with it I wouldn't do it. Friends are much more important than a one time . |
