I plan to turn an Alize bottle into a decorative lamp with the aid of some water, red food colouring and some LEDs :) |

There used to be that electronics surplus store on Queen St. near John. That's where I used to get mine.
Radio Shack or whatever it's called now carries them.
I still find it way cheaper if you un-solder LEDs from dollar store led toys. |
Active Surplus? it's still there, only upstairs now |

I have some finger-lights (photons) left over from when I used to liguid. need em? |
haha, that is what I wanted to use to mix conjuring with my liquid, but I've found more and more going the way of funk style, so no thanks. No more lights required for me. |

Oh, I forgot my funny lights story from last weekend!
We backpacked into the mountains and went over the continental divide into this deep valley. The way down was near vertical and we barely made it before dark. We set up camp, built a fire, and were chilling with Ju-******s (SoJu + Pucker). I bring my LEDs with me because, heck - big dark open space - fun to dance in. I danced around for awhile with them .
The next morning, on the hike out, a couple asked if anyone had a green or blue lantern. Apparently, they were hiking down the pass and they couldn't see the valley floor when suddenly they saw this ball of blue green light in the dark and just started heading towards it. :) They thanked me and wanted to know what I had been doing. lol
See kids - dancing with lights CAN save lives! :p |

| If you ever go to Comfort Zone there's an electronics place just across the street. It's on the south side of College a few doors west of the south/west corner. I forget the name but you can't miss it, they have a bunch of stuff in the window. |

There are a lot of electronics suppliers at Dixie/Matheson. Sayal is the best there, their website has a list of their LED's/power supplies, etc. It's a warehouse sized place, lots of selection in raw components ie. transistors, resistors etc.
If you're looking for something more specific i'd order from Digikey online, shipping is $8 flat rate which is pretty reasonable. Newark is the other good option. I ordered some LED's from those guys for work last week. |
