| There are some on ebay for ridiculously high prices. But are these legit? I was thinking of buying one but i dont really want to if theres a chance i will get knocked back at the door after spending $200 |

I think your best bet is to try jumping the fence at Harbourlife.
If you pay $200+ for a ticket then you are only feeding the scalpers and perpetuating the cycle.

I totally agree!
I was hoping to buy a ticket to FD but missed out and was extremely annoyed to find them on ebay for $200, what a load of ! It's frustrating because i do want to go, and now i cant afford it, and i don't think i should have to pay that. I admit, i was a little slow on buying them and should of bought them in the first 8hrs with the other 15,000 people, but i thought the rest of the tickets would sell at a relative normal pace. yep... i thought wrong! :(
oh well... gotta do something else now for nyd

yeh luckly got all my tickets... but they sold like hot cakes.

Might be able to help you out. Bought a ticket but looking like I might stay on in Thailand for NYE/NYD (Sydney doesn't look all that appealing this yr IMO). Will make a decision within two weeks if you still will want it then. |
