from the hooj ch00nz website:-

"You can't keep a good label down. After a 3 year hiatus Hooj Choons has announced a full scale return in early 2007. As a taster for the first fully new releases we present some exclusive new mixes and unreleased material. HOOJ137 to HOOJ142 will be exclusively available 1 per week from Mid October 2006. First up (rather appropriately) is Medway - Resurrection."

This is THE label that rawwked back in '98-'99 with anthems from Energy 52, Three Drives, Solar Stone, Katcha and Lost Tribe.

woot.

h00j news.
Dean Millson
they completely lost the plot towards the end, so it was no wonder.

The best "brand" out of any of the labels around however imo. That little stick fugure dude was a stroke of genius :)

:)

Wonder what they will have in store?
Aesthetic

New Hooj review from Joof...

Leama & Moor 'Waiting' Hooj choons
Certain things simply go together; Strawberries & cream, Begic & cock, vodka & red bull and Leama & Moore!! Again we find another top knotch production from this duo. They manage to put music back into Progressive, whilst not effecting those quality under tones. Nice to see a Hooj choons release back on this page too! (4/5)

one of the best labels ever, glad they're back...

not that big a fan of 'waiting' but good to see the label redoing that Sacred Cycles masterpiece :)

Re-doing Sacred Cycles?

Really?

I mean seriously, what is the ing point? Why to trance labels insist on releasing remixes of classic tracks that are so classic there is really no point remixing them. It smacks of "we don't have any new ideas"

christos
totally agree dean, they've lost their creative spark as they churn the same old stuff over and over....I mean sure the track is great, but lets keep it that way instead of 2006'ing everything. :p
00soups00
true, but the David West remix is pretty groovy..

there is also a Derek Howell Remix however i thought they all came out on Lost Language
Dean Millson
Both labels are owned by the same people i believe ;)

00soups00
