Recording from mixer to PC

Hi,
I heard someone mentioning the fact that you can record from a mixer to a pc using the record out on the back of the mixer. I have been more of a digital dj, and I'm planning on buying 2 CDJ's and a Numark mixer. How do I record onto a PC, what connection do I need, and what Windows software will allow me to record it?

You just need an RCA to mini stereo adaptor, and a bunch of different programs can record. I recommend audacity, it's free and pretty basic. |
