i'm autistic. i was diagnosed with aspergers syndrome. dr's think that maybe albert einstein (when he was alive) and bill gates have it (no joke). nothing major. i still function like a normal human being, atleast i think i do.

i have an autistic cousin (or so we think).. he's 300 pounds and sits in a recliner all day.. but that's beside the point.
at my grandma's funeral a couple years ago he and his family came down from wisconsin.
the walks up to me really awkwardly and the first thing out of his mouth in the most twangy wisconsinite accent is:
"ya know, will.. the packers never win the superbowl in republican administrations."

trust me.. i know twang.
i'm surrounded by it in this e town. i've pulled a ben folds and forced myself to not talk with a southern accent.. lo and behold, i sound intelligent.
but yeah.. i really am surrounded by redneck-speak. in fact.. just about 10 miles north of here a meth lab is uncovered at least once a month.. lol. |
