From the epic buzz of Neon, to the sleek futurism of Heat, from the dubby anthemics of Full Range Madness, to the lush chords of The Now People: Gregor Tresher rocks. He's versatile and listenable.
Heat and The Now People, in particular, strike closer to trance than anything out there actually called "trance" right now. |

Yep, I've been paying attention to Sven for a few months now, having discovered the revolution in big-room, trancesque techno out of Kompakt Extra, Cocoon, Datapunk, Innervisions, Karmarouge, Wagon Repair (woo, Vancouver!) etc. Blazing stuff.
On a related tangent, are there any good English-language techno forums? My heart is with TA, but sometimes I want a little more interest in techno.
Edit: here's a decent one: mnml.nl |
