Aight, so i am the newbie to the KW trance community and i just want to say this was the best night i've ever had in this town (two towns?cities?) since i moved here because: a) i got to meet the people ive been praying that id meet. b) I got to see Nick Pilon....fellow Montrealer/Montréalais in my new domicile (who by the way ripped it up)

So although i know this thread should be started by the vets, I'm taking my shot at expressing my gratitude, ackknowledgement and appreciation of this past event. You guys were extremely warm and inviting and I am so thrilled about being here now that I know there are others that share the same passion.

As for the review, Dennis, you were terrific, i'm so glad i got to meet you. Loved when you dropped "Open your eyes" (Nalin & Kane?).

Nick, so awesome to see you here, it feels like home now...good 'ol Aria. Frontline! Are you fine! White Shadows (Preach bootleg) Edge of Space (you & Dennis?). Le Canadien ont perdus en fusilage mais ca fait rien, la coupe s'en vient!

Hope to see you guys soon!

peace for now,

Rohan

P.S. COME TO GUV10!!!! Sander Van Doorn....can't miss...seriously!

WOW! I knew there was a reason why I hyped up this event so much and why it could not be missed... you guys kicked our asses royally ;)

I love both the men that played tonight for my own reasons.
I will start with the guest of honour on the decks tonight...

Nick Pilon, you signed, sealed and delivered that set tonight.
You my man certainly proved what all the hype in Montreal is about. I knew that I could trust my MTLTA's to not steer me the wrong way with music and they did a great job. We would be happy to have you back to play at anytime, anywhere. I honestly was blown away and I cannot wait to see you at "insert new club here" lol, next time I am in Montreal. :)
Why I love you: Dark Shadows - Preach  Thank you so much :D

And to my one and only Dennis Hahn, hun you know how to rock the PR each and every time. I cannot thank you enough and tonight was such a stellar night. YOU are the reason I continue to come out to the PR every other weekend. I can always count on having a good time with you up there spinning. Next time we will rock it out in Montreal.. oh yeah ;)
Why I love you: Broken Inside - Preach ( I nearly fell off my rocker when I heard that tune coming in.. Thank you a trillion times, I can always count on you :D)

It was a pleasure meeting Nick's manager Louis as well. I am sure I will see you in Mtl soon enough. I hope you guys have a safe trip back to Montreal in the morning. (without traffic jams ;))

Transoholic, nice meeting you as well. I am glad that you had a good time out for your first "official" TA outting.

Kris, so glad that you made it down. It was a pleasure sharing the dance floor with you.

Rob, thanks for the McD's on the way home, I was hungry.. lol

And to the rest of you, always great to see you out at PR and look forward to the next Dennis Hahn night :p

I am still smiling over here. I have to say that I have never loved trance as much as I did tonight. Thank you boys! :)

DRUNKEN DAN IS BACK!!!

Bahahahaha... So many TA guys got trashed. Drunken Dan is sketchiest hell and amusing as feck. Goooooo Dan!!!! :D

Ok. Review.

Got to PRoom around 10. Aaron played some electro and techy house for about 30mins until Dennis showed up. Dennis = good! Though there were bits of spots the track selection was a bit wonky. I guess that's where you were testing out some new tunes.

Nick came on about 12:30 and I missed trancy trance in PRoom. Was good to hear that stuff again. Yes, there were some cheese, but I guess I missed cheese as I enjoyed the set in general whole a lot. Anyone who can appreciate John Askew is good in my book. :D

Nick, je souhaite que je verrai te jouer a Montreal quelque temps dans l'avenir. :)

TA dancing up a storm = good! TA men = teh drunk! TA ladies = teh hot!
Pics and some videos up in a bit.

Overall: 8.5/10
Tune of the Night: John Askew - All or Nothing
Transoholic
Perry O'Neil - Bass Society:eek:
