The virus ti is a bitch for me, pretty dam tricky with all the routing and crap to program good sounds. I heard the Nord Lead 2 was hella easy to program .... how about the nord lead 3?

cool, thx dj palm

I wouldn't call it super easy. Those multi function knobs are kind of annoying. Then again I've only tried it very briefly. It's definately a good synth though. :)

1) The TI VSTi plugin design is sooo slow to work with.

2) The VSTi takes a rediculous ammount of CPU when on screen, like 40% CPU. I just keep it closed.

I only use it for Totall Recall, and even thats failed once and lost all my sounds. (sort of my fault, i worked on the project with the TI off and saved it. apparently that deletes all your sounds and makes totall recall fail. WHO KNEW?!?)

Yes, the bass bank is quite good, I use it in a lot of my productions.. In fact I stopped using my virus for baselines lately.

Agree.. Virus OSC's don't have enough raw power to satisfy my bass craving.
