| Yeah, theyre earplugs. The ER 15s are custom molded to your ear where the ER 20s are not |

do they make the sound quality worse or is it just like the music is turned down? and how much do they cost? |

the non-moulded ones result in a small dip. The moulded ones are pretty good though. |

The ER-20 are about 25 dollars I think
The ER-9, ER-15, ER-25 are custom made and the price it's around 150 - 200 dollars.
the numbers represents the DB volume recudtion , -9DB, -15Db, -20Db,. -25Db.
The Sound Quality with the ER-15 is the same. the volume it's just lower. |

I just ordered myself some ER-20's from here: link for just $19 with shipping. I figure I might as well get them before my hearing is shot since music is about the most important thing and I want to be able to hear when I'm 50.
It just reminds me of this time I went to go see Pendulum at a club out where I live and they had the sound WAY loud. I was there for about 4 hours until I noticed they were selling earplugs at the bar :wtf: I was thinking "Y'know, if you just turned the volume knob down a tad you wouldn't even have to spend money to buy those earplugs and then sell them." I didn't get them though because I had already been there for four hours and I figure that whatever damage had been done couldn't be placated by getting the earplugs at that point.
Sorry to hear about that though. You're not even that old either to be having your hearing going :wtf: |

| Get the ER 20s at the Earplug Super Store. I paid a totaly of 13 bucks for clear ones. They also throw in a free cord. |

to anyone who doesnt have ear plugs, get them, now!! er-20s are great, and as cheap as a couple of beers, so save your ears, now, i even think they improve the sound quality, but for mixing, dont bother, they stick out too far.
but serious guys, do it before its too late, speaking from experience, mine arrived too late, after the weekend my ears started hurting from serious club damage, but hey, ive got them now, and they work wonders.

wouldnt know mate, but would like to find out, id imagine the custom fitted ear plugs would be the choice, but they are a tad on the pricey side. seriously though, for clubbing, get the er-20's, the sound is great.
