Hey all, this is the first track I've finished in awhile, finally overcame my creative block. I'd really appreciate any feed back on the mix, this is also my first track on my new monitors and I'm still geting used to them...Hope you enjoy and thanks for taking the time to listen! :)

Nice intro man.
The kick and the percs sounds great!
Now the synthline begins.. nice rythm.. I like it..
Here comes the bassline, wicked!
1:50 into the song.. Nice feeling you've got there..
The strings sounds great! Very emotional which I like!
The Piano didnt sound that good in my ears thou, you can do better! :)
Here comes the trancy melody! Wicked!
I like how you sidechain the strings! It gives a really "Pumping" feeling to the track!
Nice track man!
You really got some skillz there, but Im not to keen about the piano thou!

That was actually a last minute idea that I added after I constructed the track. I definitly wanna keep the piano in the track, maybe I'll try out some new idea's for the piano melody though. Perhaps something a little more driving.
Btw, the pad actually isn't sidechained at all, I just automated the amp envelope to get that effect.
Also, I took the time to listen to the tunes you have on your site. Excellent work, I really like Big In Japan!!! :D Very cool sound, keep it up!!! |

Cleaned up the mix a bit more, added some tablas and bongos, and started the mid-bassline at the beginning which im still not sure if I like...

I'm working on a new mixdown now, with a more audible clap and some other interesting things...I'll post when it's done...:)
P.S. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I really wouldn't mind any negative comments, or contructive critism for that matter. I find it to sometimes be more helpful than anything.
