Why do all these kids have access to guns? Do they press charges against the registered gunowner when these kind of things happen? Wouldn't that be criminal negligience on the part of the parent who leaves the gun accessible to the child?

And seriously, who benefits from owning a gun? As long as I've been in this country, I never heard of a gun being used to defend someone against an intruder which is why you're allowed to own them, right?

I'm ing tired of hearing about these things. isn't even a big deal anymore.

It's the new attention-grabber for depressed losers.

thats a pretty short sighted way of looking at it. instead of getting angry maybe we should try to understand and examine exactly what motivates these type of acts in the first place.

i always think the same thing when something like this happens. i assume the penality to the gun owner isn't that tough. the other part of the equation is that kids are also pretty devious and can figure out where dad keeps the key to the lock, or the take it from a relative who doesn't have kids. most of the time i'm sure its just parents negligence. i mean look at our society.

i see very little benefit from guns. i'm sure if you go to the nra site the have some patriotic/contitutional mobo jumbo.
