God I love my wife.... :p
btw, for those of you that don't know (and not sure I told you guys yet) but we went for our 2nd ultrasound today.
Got to see the little bugger live and hear a heart beat; was pretty cool actually.
I've been reading that qualification list and I will say this; no one has ALL those qualities in aces.
We may be strong in some and lack in others but at the same time, so do they (the women).
It's a work in progress yea know?
We've been together 14 years (married 7) and we learn to talk.
Communication / Trust / Honesty are all keys to a successful relationship.
Without those, the above list is meaningless... |

Personally, I love women who can trust and be trusted, which are honest and open, have their own identity and are happy with life. I dont go for looks anymore, I look for the character, I met some good friends so far! It is the beauty inside. Of course, the outer beauty is a factor, but thats secondary ;-)
Very touching story you got there, good luck! Its important to find happiness in life ... |

But would you agree that, honesty, communication and trust are more important?
If you've never been in a long term relationship I can understand why you wouldn't have answered the question.
If not, then trust me when I say, they are. ;) :)
oh and thanks everyone for the well wishes. :D |

I've never been in a long-term relationship, because I went for the looks in my earlier years. Now I am in college, and havent found the time, but I am absolutely certain that the person's qualities and characteristics are most important. Thats how you make good friends, and thats how you meet and have long-lasting relationships with women ;-)

Why do you want a long-lasting relationship with a woman ?
That's so boring... |

I dont care about that quick anymore. I need someone who I can trust, someone who will be there for me, someone to understand and share life with me. My dick can wait.
Good friends are hard to find. Short term friends and quick girls dont lead to anything good, just momentary pleasure, will can have its own lashbacks. |

Because some of us, believe it or not, don't think our dicks should be making such decisions for us. You'd be surprised how much more valuable, interesting, and meanigfull your relationship with a member of the opposite sex can be when your head isn't full of semen, and the impact that has on your general happiness and wellbeing. |

The thing is that the most of us here are young. We shouldn't be thinking about a serious relationship, yet. It is why people cheat so much at our age. Most are not thinking about marriage or something serious like a child. |

That was results of a very good study. HEY, animals cheat too! |
But humans can be like the red wolf. The red wolve's are known to stay with one partner for the rest of their lives.
Human's can be faithful, and trusting, it is just that Evolutionary biologist(such a great title by the way) always believe that nature wins out in humans.
Biologists have really screwed up humanity.
Nowadays people rather than blaming and taking responsibility for themselves they say its "nature". If it was nature than more than half of us would have never lived past our first year. |

Good story if things like this happened more often than cheating wouldn't be an issue:)
| quote: | A Russian banker sealed his wife in a barrel and threw her into the sea when the couple were on vacation on Crimea Peninsula in Ukraine, the Pervaya Krymskaya newspaper reports.
The 32-year old head of a Russian bank had arrived in Crimea together with his wife and two bodyguards. After a two-week stay in one of the local hotels the man started to suspect his wife of being unfaithful as the woman was spending nights outside the hotel and returned only in the morning. She said that she had to meet her childhood friends in her hometown of Yalta.
However, one night, the husband decided to search for her and found his spouse in a bar together with another man. A conflict ensued which ended in a brawl. The banker’s bodyguards forcefully took the woman to the hotel and locked her up in a room. After that, all three men started drinking vodka and thinking of a punishment.
Eventually, the bodyguards put the woman in a wooden barrel, sealed it and threw the barrel into the sea.
The floating barrel was spotted by local fishermen who managed to retrieve it from water and open, rescuing the woman who immediately turned to the police.
Police investigators went to the shore to check the details and found the banker who was sober, crying and looking for the barrel. The man was detain and taken to the police station where he met his wife.
Curiously, after numerous apologies the woman agreed to take back her complaint and the jealous banker avoided criminal responsibility.
