The UK version is a huge hit. You know why? A good host who makes the drama seem intense. Real People with the boxes, not tarts or something . The people bond well & they all want each other to do well, you can see them crying if they spoil a game for a close friend or the pure happiness if they succeed.

Ours has been so hot that contestant waiting lists were shut once they reached about 3 years worth, and Noel Edmonds got a multi-million pound deal for hosting it. |

| just to add, they sometimes let u hear the banker talking here too, so he's there. there's also some videos of past games on the link i posted, including one which was great, a guy from nigeria who moved over to the uk when young after being parylised, and really captured everyone's heart |

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was awesome too - we had a very charismatic host who was perfect for the job. Unfortunately, he left the show once he became the network chairman! :eek:
*EDIT* And he is Chairman of one of the big clubs in AFL as well. |

| I watch it sometimes too. I can find it quite addictive sometimes. It well beats Millionaire and the Weakest Link. tbh, I still miss Noel's House Party. I'm such a nostalgic freak. :p |
