Actually, the perfect combo would be the following...
- Paul Bettany as the person you see on-screen
- Mark Hamill (did the voice for Joker in the excellent cartoon series) doing Bettany's voice
I know it sounds a bit iffy, but Bettany's on-screen capabilities and Hamill's voice would make a damn-good combination, as well as the only acceptable Joker close to Nicholson.

I agree, to an extent. If you want to remake something, then you should do it good. With the success of the most recent Batman flick (which, really, because it was a different villian it wasn't a remake) I have plenty of faith in this one. |

| While I will always love Tim Burton's Batman movies, as an avid Batman comic book reader I have to say that these new "remakes" are shaping up to be spot on in doing Batman justice. |
