Just to clarify for those who may mis-interpret my post...
Hassidim (ultra-orthodox Jews), like the most religious of any specific religions, take their scriptures seriously... and that is fine, until things are taken too extreme (IMO). Scriptures tell that a Jewish state will only be created with the first coming (second coming for Christians), so therefore the state of Israel is considered an abomination to the Hassidic people. |
