Yeah... More looking for words that are something when spelled in backwards order, just like live - evil, lap-pal...

So you want palindromes, not anagrams.

No no...I think it is angram.
I did find this from wikipedia;
‘Earth = heart’ is an example of a simple anagram expressed in that way.

So I am looking for simple anagrams that starts with L (or ends with L) :tongue2
My own English isn't so good that I coul think so many words that start/end with L and mean something... Look-Kool (well almost right) :thepirate
Lime=Emil (but Emil is name...). See, I am BAD with this :(

Heart is not Earth spelled backwards. That's what you want, isn't it?

palindromes are words that read the same way backwards and forwards.

a few examples of palindromes:

racecar
nun
radar
level
madam

Man some of you are stupid. The thread starter wants this:

an‧a‧gram
–noun
1. a word, phrase, or sentence formed from another by rearranging its letters: “Angel” is an anagram of “glean.”
2. anagrams, (used with a singular verb) a game in which the players build words by transposing and, often, adding letters.
–verb (used with object)
3. to form (the letters of a text) into a secret message by rearranging them.
4. to rearrange (the letters of a text) so as to discover a secret message.

So a word that, when the letters are rearranged, creates another word.

i think his first post threw people off because in the examples that he posted, the letters weren't just rearranged, they were just flipped backwards.

so maybe what he's looking for is a palinanagramadrome?

I don't know what is the correct name for the thing I am looking for....
Since I am after words that are something else when you read them bacwords order...
So not mixing the letters or anything like that. Just to meaning 2 things depending from what "direction" you read the word :toothless
And end/strat with the letter L! :)

Redrum=Murder (no L in there...)
Live=Evil
Loop=Pool

so keep them coming if you can get up with more?
Thanks ;)
Frenchie
Theresa, I think you're wrong on this one.

The thread started wan't words that are like, what they are stating.
Written the same both ways... thus why that's all they are writing.

pool-loop
Live-evil
devil-lived....

They never said anything about, the letters that scramble to make another word.

Don't call us dumb!:( :( :( :(
