My best friend was interviewing a guy for a position at a mutual fund company. She already decided she wasn't going to hire him so when she asked him if he had any questions he asked her "How do you feel about Paul Oakenfold?!" Out of all questions to ask!

This was freaky because she's so NOT an edm fan and two days before I emailed her about our upcoming trip to NYC asking her the exact same thing. She responded saying he's pretty good and she's going to see him in NYC next week. Totally caught the idiot off guard. She thinks he was making fun of her.

Well, my friends, I am a specialist HR recruiter so I find those nutjobs that ask you the mental questions their employment so I guess I have heard it all!

Seriously though, I have some damn good interview preparation documents that have been compiled over my 5.5 years experience both here and in England so if you have a job interview coming up, I will be happy to prep you (will also take a look at your resume) but please don't innundate me unnecessarily.

no, on a permanent basis...........they can go ... themselves with their trick questions. Instead of looking at my grades in accounting classes and asking specific questions related to this auditing position, they waste time on idiotic questions like that. The other question she asked was: "What was the last book I read and describe it to me?" I should've said Kamasutra and I can show it in practice too, so why don't you pull your skirt up, face the wall, bend down and lean on your desk, bitch :)

For an interview at a Video Game company:

HR: Do you like video games?
Me: I like videos and I like games, but no, I don't like mixing them together.
