This mix is ing mint- and this DJ ing ROCKS. Had the chance to spend some time with him in India as we worked for the same house music organization - Submerge. He keeps it real in Chennai spinning some of the nastiest techiest beats around and has been doing so for 14 YEARS! Lately his style has been going in a nasty dirty synthy direction- and I'm all for it. he also has a new label going called 'Brutal By Birth' (www.brutalbybirth.com)
Also, Tuhin enjoys the element of suprise and has chosen not to include the tracklist. While I had my reservations about this decision, I first listened to it without the 'aid' of a TL and found the experience much more... suspenseful? He does however understand the necesity of giving the producers credit and basically just wants to get some first impressions. So... maybe you'll see th TL in a couple weeks...
He also has some very interesting credentials!
Extensive training in Audio Engineering from the world-renowned School of Audio Engineering (SAE)’s Chennai campus.
M-Audio have named him as one of their international artists.
He is also an international ambassador to the Berklee College of music.
Co-Founder of the Indian subcontinent’s first independent house Label.

I was listening to this set earlier today. I knew starting the mix that it wasn't my cup of tea. Regardless, I still enjoyed your mix. Excellent flow. Interesting collection of sounds.
The last two tracks are good, and by that I mean that I liked them.

Hehe no doubt... I mean, for what Tuhin plays, it doesn't get much better. If this sort of thing isn't your preference, then you won't like it anyways, but this mix is hot hot hot from a dj who's been throwin down hot since i was ing four years old :p |
