Can you give some more detail?
Are you using it as vst via usb or as a midi synth?
Normally as a midi synth you'll have to set the right midi output and adjust the midi channel for each part you want to assign to the TI

Ok...

I use M-Audio 192... & Evolution MK-449C Midi Controller

so i connect the midi controller Midi Out line with my Virus Ti(Desktop) Midi In line...

Then i USB my Ti to my CPU USB...
and i also plug in OUTPUT1 (Red&White)to M-Audio 192 INput (Red&White)

and Midi Out from Ti to M-audio 192 Midi In....

My setting in FL is...
-OUTPUT Setting...There are:
--Microsoft MIDI Mapper
--Delta AP192 MIDI *i select this*
--MPU-401
--Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth

-INPUT Setting...
--MPU-401
--Delta AP192 MIDI *i select this*
--USB Audio Device
--Virus Ti MIDI

and i use it like a VST... where the Virus Controller VST came out...
i load lots of sound in the left hand menu... but only the first sound can be use...

so what do u think i need to change? hehehe

Thnx alot man!! :gsmile: :gsmile: :gsmile:

When you switch to MULTI mode on the Virus you now have 16 midi channels whereas in SINGLE you have one.

So when you add a MIDI out plugin in SINGLE mode, you set the midi port to whatever your soundcard is set to. You set the channel number to one. You are good to go.

In multimode you need to add a MIDI out plugin for every consecutuve channel.

So if you have 2 channels enabled on the virus and you want to hear both channels playing back you need to add 2 MIDI out plugins to the channel window, both set to Port X (where X = the port your soundcard is configured for) but the first MIDI channel will be 1 and the second will be 2.

Easy.

If you want to use all 16 channels you will of course need to open 16 MIDI out plugins, configured to MIDI channels 1 through to 16.

You also need to enable that channel in the MULTI mode menu on the Virus as they all disabled bar the 1st one by default. Then you can mix them all up, detune them relative to each other etc on the Virus. If you need to make modifications to a single patch and you dont want to quit out of MULTI mode, press both SINGLE and MULTI together to go into (you guessed it) MULTI SINGLE mode. You can save the single patch changes in there whilst still operating in MULTI mode.

But the funny thing is when i load a preset in my virus controller, it will automaticaly switch to SEQ mode... and i cant change it back to MULTI mode.

& The most confusing for me is...
" open 16 MIDI out plugins, configured to MIDI channels 1 through to 16."
how? LOL

sorry im really blind bout thing like this... hehe
Thanks alot for the detail reply man :) :)

cheers!

Uhhh, have you looked at the MIDI out plugin? Take a look at it.

Check pm,
it's just the midi channel you need to change. midi channel 1 = first sound in the virus control vst.

Dude, I got your PM but seriously, if you cannot change the MIDI channel in FL's MIDI out plugin then you are either:

1) Blind.

2) Stupid and you should throw in the towel now, sell all your gear and blow all the money on coke and hookers.

I mean, come on - it says 'MIDI channel' on the actual plugin and has a number next to it which you can change. Its not rocket science. :(

LOL :D :D :D

"change the MIDI channel in FL's MIDI out plugin" yup i know there is Channel Number text in it... and ok i change it...

but how can i link it? i set everything in MIDI setting...
but how to use the FL MIDI out plugin... with Virus Control VST??

with FL MIDI out plugin only... i cant hear a single sound

heheh

btw thanks for ur patience :D
cheers!

Uhhh I didn't realise you were using the VST control thing.

If you want to use the MIDI out plugin you have to monitor via the analogue outs on the Virus. If you use the VST control there should be some multi mode thing in that. If there isn't then it sucks.
