Seems to me Psy-T's motivation lies in the fact that he's egotistical.
Here, he's posed a question believing his hypothesis is correct. He is most likely looking for a reaction, a defense if you will, from you...so that he can meticulously pick it apart, citing examples to back up his theories, etc etc.
Why would he do that? Like I said, because of his ego. See, in building a "case" against you, it gives him an outlet to "show off" his percieved intelligence, and in turn, feed that ego of his.
I've seen people who think they're the do stuff like this all the time. |
