Anybody know if they sell presale tickets, and where I can get them?
I'm surprised nobody has posted a topic on this. My girlfriend told me about this but the only info I have on it is on the actual website for Belo.
See you guys there! |

I want to go see Nic's set tonight soooooooooooo bad but I have to work in the morning . . . and Sunday too.
Listening to Nic's latest Kiss set which starts out slow but developes into a classic Fanciulli groove. Just what my ears crave.
This sucks . . .

Dope night. Fanciulli was on fire, playing Lucky Heather and other tunes that I recognize. Was PRAYING that he would play Anthony Acid - Big Time Disco, but didn't happen :(
Sharam was dope too, but a little flat than I expected.Played Dreams, PATT, and this other tune that I got on beatport...sounds great live.
All in all, fun night. Nice club, high prices, and good selection of people. |

i had a good time untill sharam got on. nic KILLED it! i was having a ton of fun while he was on then when sharam came on the first 2-3 tracks were good but then got very boring. my sister was loving nic's set and even she was bored as for sharams set.
we got into san diego at about 810 or so and got dinner at a restaurant one of my friends knows the owner. we eat and get out of there at 930.
we get downtown near belo 5 mins later. takes us about 5 mins to park. we had to pick some stuff up from Boris MD so we met him at a restaurant and got what we were picking up and we then proceeded to belo. we got there and right as we got there it started raining. i had to get cash so i went around front and got cash and then we get in.
got in and i thought damn i like this place. the whole hip hop room thing was stupid imho but whatevers. i like how there is the sushi bar there too! i love sushi and sushi is good for drinking!
the opening dj was good and set the mood and tone. i went over to the bar and i notice they have effen vodka. if you like vodka get this and try it. its really smooth (smoother than goose) and its same price as goose. i get a drink for my sister and i and then kinda look around a little more. nice place thats for sure.
then nic gets on and just really gets a progressive house with a bit of electro house in there too. i cant id anything but i thought it was an awesome set. he kept the energy going and really tore it up. after sharam got on i typed on my phone "nic you killed it! now can you just kick sharam off and get some energy and non boring music in here?" and when he finished reading it he chuckled.
all i have to say about sharam is BORING! he was so boring we left at 2am.
all in all good night. |

I rode with Gehzumteufel last night to belo.
I do have to agree with his opinion of the night, Nic set was by far the better of the two! It was sad that most of the people there stayed out of the main room until Sharam came on, and missed Nic's set! Honestly I stood dumbfounded and bored, about 8 feet back from the DJ booth watching the crowd go nuts for Sharam. His mixing was sloppy and track selection lacked energy.!!!
His set was average @ best. Boring honestly. Nic however, spun the best house set ive ever heard here in the states. I doubt I will ever pay to see Sharam again. I havent seen a full Deep Dish set yet, only both of them solo and im not impressed.
But I would gladly spend my money anyday to see Nic throw down a wicked house set!!!! |
