Is there a better part to that song? I can't say I remember it from Above & Beyond, but I didn't think that clip was good at all. It sounded just like another run-of-the-mill vocal trance track. :conf:
Oh well, to each their own. |

Crobar Buenos Aires was 9-22-06, which would be my guess. |

That's why I was asking if there was something more to the track. From that clip, the track was boring. It kind of reminded me of Way Out West - Intensify, which would also bore me if the vocals were the only part of it that I heard, but I do like in its entirity. |

LOVE LOVE LOVE this song!
Black is the colour of my true loves hair.
Her lips are like a rose so fair.
Shes got the sweetest face and the gentlest hands.
I love the ground whereon she stands.
I love my love and well she knows.
I love the ground whereon she goes.
And how I whish the day would come
when she and I can be as one.
I go to the Clyde and mourn and weep
satisfied I never will sleep.
Ill write her a letter, just a few short lines
And suffer death ten thousand times. |

Have you heard any of the previous, non-EDM, versions? I was actually looking before I commented for lyrics to see if the fascination was lyrically based, and learned this song has been done by countless others, with different lyrical variations, as it's a "traditional" English song (The Corrs, Sinead O'Connor, Joan Baez, Nina Simone).
You learn something new every day, even if it is something I'll forget in 2 weeks anyhow. |
