| He's horrible... listen to him live at Kinki Palace (it's posted on this site). That is one of the worst live sets i've ever heard in my life. Absolutely brutal songs (except for the '99 remix of universal nation and a couple of others). I don't think I heard one properly beatmatched mix, let alone one good transition in a set that was around an hour and a half. That's disgraceful. |

i totally agree, that set was rather good...the synergy formed by the music and the energy that it generated was quite amazing, one of the best synergys ever conjured up in my opinion.... also, what am i talking about :D |

Are you serious?
That set was brutal... he is one of the worst dj's i've ever heard in my life. Did he forget what beatmatching was? Usually dj's make two songs the same speed and then play them on top of one another. But does Talla do this? No.... he's too good for that... he'd rather just put random songs on the tables and flip the crossfader. That takes skill... wow... I wish I could mix like him one day... even the Z103.5 dj's can mix better than him.
But honestly, lets ignore the mixing and pretend he had a bad day. Those songs he plays are brutal... If you can't mix at least play good songs. |
