hey guys, I'm releasing my first original track in 4months and wanted to share the previews with you to get some feedback if this is a good direction. Your input is really appreciated :D
ILMF001 Infinityloop - Trance + remixes OUT OCt.15.2006!
A melodic trancer that will uplift and drive you to a new energy state. A ballanced state of euphoria for your senses. This track also features 3 remixes from top notch producers from around the world:
ADS - ILM's bestseller of the Month (ADS- Summer) and featured on other prominent labels,
BDH- released with 'emotive sounds', 'metalic recordings', and manager of 'avalone recordings'.
InExistent- a producer which stands to his true trance flavour; classic trance. You may have heard some of his great classics on XM or Serius (satelite radio), but he is trully underground.
What is Force? ILM's trance releases will come from ILMF a new subdivision of the label that will focus on trance releases. Everything from minimal to full on melodic euphoria will be released with 'the force'.

Personally i prefer ADS remix over others, however others done pretty good job as well..
Your rmx katalin : starts off pretty funky, kick is very distinct, id say in dynamic corelation its perfect, i like the form, you've used a few scales in your musical piece here, timbre/colors are just fine.
Tempo is allegro which is pretty standard for trance, you've got some excellent polyrhytms going on here n there, improvisation skills are excellent, melody is great, the only thing that is missing but not entirely are phrases, id add a few here n there.
Your consonance is good but not as good as ADS's :), i heard a few dissonance factors in bdh's rmx, good harmony tho.
i love your textures, very wise indeed.
overall, 8.5/10, loved it |

the graphics are very nice. the music is ... well ...
definitly not for me. I'm not saying this to be an ass, but I think it lacks a lot of elements to make a good release (mostly better production and interesting melodies). |

ok, i listened to the orginal and the ADS mix..
the original was kinda flat production, the melodies are alright.. but synths bass, percs.. all sounded flat.
the ADS mix was brighter.. and sounded a little better, but seriously, there are already a bunch of tunes 10 times better than these on the marked already.
thats what i think though, good luck with them. =) |

Hello, first of all, thank you all for taking time to make the feedbacks :)
well surely everyone has his own opinion. I'm not a pro producer, thats right. My remix is maybe not better than others on the market, but hey, no release can always be better than the best out there.
Ones are good others better etc.. anyway, thanks again for the replies, its all about music, if it makes you feel good and transmits the feelings i had while makin it , and not about if its better than others or not. I have to say that i like the other remixes and the original. :)

But personally, i question the necessity of the release. |

Nobody takes it personaly :) Feedback is feedback in any form and we really enjoy reading it.
to your response though- couldn't you then question the necessity of any release?
I mean, whats the point of music? whats the point of releasing any music?
At ILM we try to release music we believe in and love, and if others love it- thats great, if not then we just try harder to please...
keep doing what you love, because you have some great tracks too :) |
