After a long, long time listening to mr.rogers awesome techno tracks I just hád to try and make on of those myself.
this is the result, the track is almost finished by now ;)

Nice effects and fxs´! Like the melody! Think the kick could be a bit loader. Interesting, nice idea. Keep it up! :)

really cool fx being used!
agree with akia about the kick...that kick sounds like a great top end for ur kick, now add ur low end with another kick.
Really like'n the bass melody, love that zipping effect.
the wood block adds a nice touch to.
some level issues but nothin that can't be fixed.
really pump'n tune u got mate :)

Love the tech sound u got back there.
add the snare, sticks and a bit claps; Also try to filter your pads at the peak. Love the zipping fx too; it might be interesting if using more FX ,ex: thunder sound while zipping???

man this is great!
what great efx and percs/sounds.
your kick is missing that PUNCH a track like this needs. im not sure it is missing lows, but more volume in the mix imo. turn it up a bit.
synths melodies are great - but the bass is missing those vital lows imo. imo you should get that kick very low and bassy during the less bass synth filled parts, and use a hard hitting less low kick during times where there is a bassline.

nice groovy beats, i like the laser type fx throughout the tune is cool!
i like the breakdown at 1:12! love the part when the beat comes back in at 1:40!:eyespop: its finished.....:whip: :p

as said the kick could use more punch. some mad funky effects in this. sound cool though.
the pluck sound is very dry need some reverb or delay on that. like the bass synth real creamy sound.
damn its finished. jsut getting into it there to :( .

great percs! great, great, great!
Good feel at the beginning though maybe the bpms could be up a bit more.
I'm not too much into the offbeat synth. I think it would work better if you made it lower and used a harsher 303 sound.
This track needs a bassline. I can't hear a bassline at all. Try add a sine wave bassline in the lower frequencies but make sure the sound doesn't overlap with the kick. |

Interesting track!
I'm not usually into this type of tune, but there is a lot of energy here in a good way. If it's a winter theme, it's definitely somewhere where people will not stay cold for long!
The bass is really well done. I agree with the other reviewers who say that the plucking synth is a bit too "up front" - maybe some delay or reverb would help to mellow it out a bit as suggested above. I really like that sweeping lasery sound in the background.
Agreed that this is a great song - I was disappointed when it ended.:-) |
